Description of the Product
The vetronites can contain epoxy, polyester, melamine and silicone resins with different thermal class depending on the model chosen. They have excellent mechanical and dielectric properties and are suitable for use in many areas and are the excellence for the electromechanical sector. Please note that FR4, GPO3 and FR5 are self-extinguishing according to UL 94 V0.
GPO3 and FR5 material are also non-marking and halogen-free.
GPO3 material is a laminated insulator based on glass mat and filled polyester resin and is used for machined and blanked parts. It has good mechanical properties and is suitable for shearing up to 6mm thickness. It has good dielectric properties, it is intended for use in electrical equipment such as cabinets, LV and HV disconnectors, shields between phases, cabinet bases and walls, connection, end and bar supports, protection panels, insulators for mobile closures and power electronics.
FR4, G11 and FR5 laminates are laminates based on glass fabric and epoxy resin. They have different thermal classes. They are used for machined and punched parts. They have low water absorption and good dielectric properties. They have excellent mechanical properties at high temperatures.
