Within the MEPROGAL program (research project co-financed by European funds) and in collaboration with renowned research centres and livestock holdings, LIPTOSA has launched to the market HYGEN PRO, our phytobiotics product line, a studied combination of organic acids and essential oils. Numerous trials performed in different animal species and under different environment conditions have shown the product as the best alternative to the use of antibiotics growth promoters. Results show not just an improvement of the zootechnical parameters (FCR, DWG, moratlity rate...) but also an improvement of the general health status of the animals, as the combination of organic acids with essential oils, besides its bactericeide effect, shows prebiotic activity as they improve the intestinal integrity and modulate the intestinal microflora.
