Description of the Product
Air collectors shall be considered as tanks with nominal volumes: from 0.5 to 25.0 m3 and working air pressure not more than 0,785 MPa (7, 85 kgf/cm2).
Parameters exceeding the pressure value of 0.785 MPa shall be considered as receivers. These tanks are designed to smooth out pressure fluctuations in air ducts or to create an air reserve during the operation of air stationary compressors of air or rotary compressors.
Air collectors (Receivers) can be used as storage tanks for air, nitrogen, argon and other inert gases, and are intended for operation in areas with seismicity not more than 6 points on a twelve-digit scale. If it is necessary to operate Air collectors (Receivers) under the condition of seismicity of more than 6 points, a calculation is made for the seismic resistance of the tank, which is attached to the certificate of the pressure tank.
Air collectors (Receivers) having a volume of 25 m3 and higher are equipped with ring supports.
Climatic design of Air collectors (Receivers):
- UKhL1- when delivered to zones with temperate and cold climates.
- T1 - when delivered to zones with a tropical climate.
