Celtic Forwarding Ltd is an international freight forwarding

company which has been operating since 1979 and is an accredited

I.S. EN ISO 9002 Quality System Company since 1992.

Our transport/shipping activities include trailer/container services

throughout Europe, the C.I.S. and worldwide - in France and the UK

with our partners Groupe Norbert Dentressangle, Italy with GR. Como,

A.P. International, Saving Transped Srl., Spain with MacLogistics SA,

Holland with Tracco Logistics Co. BV., Traficon BV, and Belgium with

Couwels Transport NV. Through our own overseas agency network, we

operate worldwide FCL/LCL container services with our partners in

China, Australia, New Zealand, India, Thailand, Malysia, Vietnam,

Taiwan, Singapore, South Africa, Chile, USA, Russia, and also

through our membership of AerOceaNetwork Group

(www.aeroceanetwork.net).

We provide supply chain solutions for our clients, co-ordinating

shipments on a European and worldwide basis in a cost-effective

manner.

Through our offices in Dublin, the Port of Drogheda, Belview

(Waterford) and Limerick, we act as ship agents and charter vessels

on a worldwide basis. Our own in-house customs department provides

a complete customs clearance service for clients trading with countries

outside the E.U., together with advice on any duties, taxes and quotas

that may apply in specific markets, letters of credit and any other

matters of concern, particularly when entering a new market for the

first time. We are on-line with Customs & Excise and can effect

clearances speedily.

Our Waterford office is the centre for our tank container operations,

co-ordinating the movement of bulk liquids to and from the UK, Europe,

the Americas and Southern Africa.

Both hazardous materials with our DGSA officer and food products are

handled. Additional services include tank fleet management. We also provide

a comprehensive wine service from all wine producing regions. In addition to

shipping full container loads, we operate wine groupage services from France,

Italy, Spain, Portugal, UK, Hungary, Romania, Germany, New Zealand, Australia,

South Africa, Chile, Argentina and the USA. We are also members of GPLN

(Global Project Logistics Network) - www.gpln.net - a worldwide organisation of

independent and specialist companies which offers you a door-to-door service, a

wealth of experience and expertise in the movement of abnormal and project

cargos. Our airfreight department handles imports and exports to worldwide

destinations through our partners at all major gateways.

Our company has very experienced personnel in all four offices and we

can offer you and your company an excellent service. Professional and safe

cargo handling is our main objective.

Through our general worldwide freight services, whether your cargo consists of

groupage consignments or full loads we do everything possible to ensure the

safe and efficient management of all freight movements. Our committed staff in

Celtic will work with you to reduce delivery times, advise on logistical planning

and integration of land and sea transport to and from worldwide destinations.

As a result of recent upgrading of our I.T. systems, we can now offer tracking of

your cargo with real time information. We operate a 20,000 sq.ft. warehouse in the

Jamestown Industrial Park, Dublin (General & Bonded, dry & wet, warehousing).

Equipped with dock levellers, up to 6 vehicles can be handled at any one time.

Being fully racked, computerised and equipped with CCTV, the supply chain centre

offers a complete logistics management service to clients including nationwide

distribution.
